Prayers, please or positive thoughts for my step- great grandson, Riley. Riley is eight weeks old and will be having a brain scan on Tuesday as his G.P. suspects a brain tumour.
His parents and my daughter-in-law are,as you may imagine, distraught with worry, as are my son and us.
Please think positive and loving thoughts for him.
Oh Polly, my thoughts are with you and your family. My youngest grandson was born 2 years ago and had severe breathing problems. Luckily one of the midwives did a basic check (that should have been done earlier) and spotted a cleft palate and Pierre Robin Syndrome. He was transferred to Addenbrookes Hospital as an emergency referral. Had excellent care there, a repair op at 9 months old and is now doing well. Was a very scary and stressful time for all of us. I do hope your Riley has a positive outcome too.

His scan has been deferred until Friday. How can they do this!! I can only hope that they don't think it urgent. But how can they know and how can they be so complacent before his desperate and very young parents?
I can't write any more but thank you and keep those positive and loving thoughts coming.
I will let you all know as soon as we have any news.
Oh Polly... There's nothing worse than waiting The mind ties itself into all sorts of knots. We're all thinking of you, and praying. Lots of love to you.
Oh I'm so sorry - how awful to have to wait longer. My heart goes out to you all. I know that the days will seem like months, but Friday will come very soon, and we all hope and pray, with positive news. xxx
