a friend made me a cd for my 40th of about 50 of the best cheesey songs like the chicken song and agadoo time warp etc ........ i am proud to say ....... i know them all by heart ....... and when i put it on, usually when i'm totally fed up and miserable......I dance round, sing along, start smiling ...... and my son disowns me

Neil Diamond for me too Grew up listening to it in me Dad's car! I've got his Greatest Hits in the changer in the car, DD knows half the words now too (The boys prefer the more manly stuff like Foo Fighters when they get in )

Lynda that is the ONLY way to be! I have a lot of favourite music, and I sing along to ALL of it (including the ones with a range I can't achieve, yes andi&di that is half the fun). I even whistle along with Roger Whittaker's Mexican Whistler and Elizabethan Serenade. (but that is 'because I can', well nearly).

I can remember when that song came out,so excited he was a local boy,ringing round all the Kershaws in the phonebook!!(I was only about 11!)Years later I met him when he visited a friend of his that I was caring for~sad thing is I didn't realise it was him til he'd gone!!

Oh where would I start? I mean, I grew up in the 80s! Anything by Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet's 'Only When You Leave', early Madonna, Thompson Twins, Go West, oooh I play and sing to em all!

I once went to a pole dancing party and refused to dance until they put on View to a Kill. I have to say, I was rather good!

I'm an 80s kid too...so anything by Spandau Ballet and the usual 80s crew - but wait for it....I also like Barry Manilow, some him a few years ago in Glasgow - fantastic - only he can do Mandy! Not like some covers that have been going around by some silly boy bands ...I also like a bit of David Cassidy!

What really gets me dancing is the intro to Ride on Time by Black Box! Can't resist getting up and dancing around! Don't think it's very cheesy though!
