He was in some gardening programme from some years ago with Ann-Marie Powell and J.(ar)S(e). Odd how it goes, cos he was definately the better gardener, but I suppose thats not how tv gardening works?!

Oh yes, Ann-Marie Powell, I liked her, Why's she not on the telly any more? I sat on the table next to her having a cup of tea at a garden show in Ally Pally some years back. Too cowardy to say hello or anything

Well we have two timber merchants that give and deliver for free. One drop of shaving and wood chips about 5 ton a week. the other used to have a skip on site but as it is near to the site there would be a gang of old boys in it all the time so they now havent got the skip. but come once a week and dump the lot in our carpark. Its is all of cuts and damaged bits but it gets used.

They used to have to pay 175 per week to get the skip emptied so it is saving them a fortune.

                      • I'm waiting for sh1t to happen! We have a long path between to ancient brick walls to our allotments. This comes straight off the main road through the village. There is just no way to get it delivered. The only way is to visit the farms with your wheel barrow and do a lot of walking!

                            • If BBC won't take PW, I'll add a vote for RTE (as my vote probably wouldn't count to the BEEB!!).
