Just spoken to my accountant. There are times when it pays to have one. Just told me I'm entitled to Spanish government aid for the self-employed. I'm working but can't bill. No billing means the govt will help me out. I hadn't expected that.

    Morning
The sun is shining after a frost. Lots of frozen droopy heads on the flowers today. Got down to -2.7 in the greenhouse . Brrr.
May need to plan in butcher and farm shop trip and of course time in the garden.
    Have a good day

.....Just remembered I have a physio appt today , by phone .

Yesterday, I watched the first half of the West Germany vs England game from 1990 but, because I knew what happened I couldn't sit still long enough to watch the second half. The same is true with movies and tv shows - I can't watch things again generally. One of the plus sides to getting older is that I'm beginning to forget things quicker, which might not generally be a good thing come to think about it, but is at least opening me up to some repeats of 90's movies and shows now

Watched the first episode of Torchwood now. Seems ok, like a grown up version of Doctor Who with Captain Jack branching out on his own.

    "Mum, are you changing channels?"
    "No, haven't touched the remote"

Where is it, let me see!

So she leans over to pick up the remote from the table and the Channel changed again!!

Turns out, she was sitting on the spare remote and changing channels with her bottom.
Stella the staffie like changing the channels

[QUOTE=Snadger;1700940]No I haven't broadway but on your recommendation I may do so?

I am a bit of a TV show addict (not watching it live) it stems from long train journeys to work therefore watched loads on my kindle/phone.

Vikings, love it can't wait for the finale

I was thinking of a TV/Film recommendations thread but didn’t want people to think I sat on my ar** all day!!

I'm watching the series, Vikings, which is good and Robin Hood which is not so good but I will persevere with it through lockdown

I have never been a one to watch telly, preferring to listen to the radio, especially sport.

With that all gone I am watching more gogglebox than I ever have. I'm turning into a Geordie couch potato.

A lot of the Dr Who and Torchwood locations were local to me - I even walked in on one being filmed in the local woods once.
I like this website which is searchable for the film locations - if ever you're curious about where they are. Home Page - The Locations Guide to Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures
    Lots of useful/useless info too.

........and Jay, if ever you want Chicken, you only have to call my name.
