Another fantastic day in the garden, the bird food is running low so will eventually have to hit up the shops. The flowers are coming in the garden and so are the insects...

Snoop . I end up sending OH messages when I forget to add things to list
    Hope your shopping went well.

A day gardening..weeding out thistles, nettles, docks, dog daisy and elder . Ready for compost area .
Planning a.raised bed for my cuttings/split plants area too and eventually a raised bed I planned to have 7yrs ago before life started to go a bit off the rails

Wondering also if I could utilise another flowerbeds this yr for growing. It's full sun from 12 all day though. I was just going to put annual flowers in for this yr..but ??.
Perhaps should put on another thread.

Sat outside listening to the birdsong and watching the sun go down. Lovely .

    Good luck, CG. Difficult times.

Mr Snoop has gone off to do the next two weeks' worth of shopping. I forgot to put lentils and rice on the list. Hope that wasn't a mistake. We're eating an awful lot of pulses these days. Meat from the freezer is becoming a rare treat. Probably the right kind of diet (if you ignore all the cakes and biscuits). Might crack open a can of confit de canard at the weekend and really live it up!

    Morning
Didnt do farm shop yesterday so planned for either today or tomorrow with supermarket /prescription and any shopping mum needs dropping off and anything mil needs dropped at her care home . It's good that OH can talk to her , my dad doesnt communicate anymore and its difficult. Neither of us able to get a delivery slot isnt helping.
If not shopping I will get OH helping me clean the greenhouse , get the pressure washer at it.

Have a good day whatever you do

I was just wondering when life returns to "normal", what will change long term. Will there be things that we don't bother doing any more? For example my husband says he isn't missing watching sport on TV at all and doesn't think he will bother with it when it comes back. (Mmmmmm! Time will tell.) Weirdly however he is missing shopping. Will families still spend more time together and go for family walks? Will everybody want to go out to eat and drink and have coffee? Will people continue to work from home? The main thing I miss is face to face meetings with family and friends. I think a party will be in order.

Four more weeks of lockdown for us
Good job we're well stocked with supplies!

Funny how you miss certain things...I've not been out shopping for 3weeks now and the only thing I'm actually missing are fresh mushrooms!
Yeh-There are things I could go out and buy but we're just not risking it!

I've been enjoying watching QI -they're a bunch of nutters!
