Rain and floods

My dog stands at the door and watches the rain but won't go out in it. It's amazing how long she can hold on when it's raining. If she'd use a doggy toilet I would put one on my front verandah, but she won't.

It's stopped now and we've been, think I'm just a bit paranoid.

My last cat would ask you to open the back door to go out. Raining, no thanks.

Walk to the front door, all of 40 feet, can I go out the front door instead, perhaps it's not raining out there? Open door for her. Raining, no thanks...!

This happened regularly. Front Door and Back Door lead to different countries in a cat's mind?
