Evening all,
Burnies said baltic and boy was he right
. It's been really cold but dry here all day and I managed to get a load of washing out and dried. Also managed to get a final grass cut for the year done and the cuttings in to the organic waste skip at the local recycling centre. First time the grass has been dry enough to cut for a while. I also took my secateurs and pruned our lovely ceanothus . One of my favourite shrubs and it performs every year.
Her ladyship is making the tea tonight so I'm taking advantage and having a catch up on here

while out I bought a bag of nuts and bird seed the seed is no mess but was wondering if a short blast in the microwave would make it no grow or would it possibley take out some of the substance that the birds need, thinking on this I will post a thread for the answer, once back home I was in the greenhouse for a time installing some new lighting as it will be needed shortly with the clock going back tonight, now I am off to read a book as I have aquiered a book on square foot gardening, need to see if I can use this system as my foot isn't square but it is flat
. Well enjoy your evening before I do anything I'm going to watch Landward as I have been told there is a bit about White Laggan bothy, a place I visited a lot when hill walking, wish I could still do that, however I am pain free so grateful for that

... you can have the sunshine if you want it?
or sow some wildflowers along the fenceline
