I love the stuff, but does anyone else find that it won't "go away" after you've eaten it? Doesn't matter if I wash my hands and brush my teeth afterwards, I can guarrentee I'll still detect a Marmite-y tang in the air! Nothing short of a shower will stop it, unless I want the dog following me round all day with dribbly chops.
P'raps I'm just a more messy eater than I thought......

Hot toast, lashings of butter, which helps spread the marmite and then scrambled eggs on top!

Do the same with baked beans, with Worcestershire sauce and Reggae Reggae sauce in the beans as well. And garlic if you're not with anyone...like today hahaha!

Also great in mash, stews, soups and was the only way my Dad could get me to eat lettuce as a kid. Got me into Marmite then called them lettuce sandwiches...smeared marmite on a lettuce leaf, roll up and eat...yummy

Vegemite is not Marmite. Aussies always upside down...lol!

I like it on toast hot or cold, but prefer the cold toast to be white! And I have one word for you all........

I like crumpets but they don't seem to fill me like toast does.

Hi, hot toast, butter then Marmite. Due to having Aussie visitors this year we have 4 jars of Vegemite to use before I get back to my Marmite.

Tried butter with the Marmite - rather than helping to spread the Marmite I found it more difficult. The Marmite "slipped" over the butter and to get it to spread I had to dessimate the toast.

              Back to butterless for me.

I try not to use spread or butter if I'm using some other condiment as well, so I like my toast hot and nekkid when I apply the Marmite.

My mother used to make Shepherds Pie with a teaspoon of Marmite in the mince mixture - superb!!
