I always butter my toast when its still hot so I was wondering how many of you let the toast go cold first.
    Location....East Midlands.

Indeed - everyone knows Marmite, as trade name should be with a capital M.

Butter first. It's better if you let the toast go cold!

Deffo cold, otherwise the Marmite pulls the top layer off the toast!!
Also, sorry, I like the Aussie version, has a smoother flavour.

In a sandwich, or on toast - love the stuff. I especially like a marmite sandwich with a generous helping of mustard and cress, or even watercress!!

With butter, and the toast has to be warm. Cold toast is gross.

I have just had potato cake (like a flat scone thing) with marmite and melted cheese for lumch. yum yum

Ah, but if you don't butter the toast till it's cold, you can TASTE the butter! (and marmite)
