Deduct at least 2" from their measurements, girls! I don't care about how long it is: as long as I can sharpen it, that's fine by me!

The bigger they are, the easier they are to sharpen I find.

I like your pink one zaz!

So, how big is the knife you use in the kitchen?

If I had a boiler suite and a white mask I'd resemble Michael Myers in fact - it's similar to the one he has, but I keep mine clean and sharp.

Because the adverts at the bottom of the threads are usually relevant TO the thread titles, I was interested to see what they were advertising!

I must be a bit different in that I use a 3" Sabatier type veg knife for about 95% of my kitchen chopping! I just can't get on with those big ones- just not agile enough for me.
                Nice and sharp.
Proper bread knife for bread, and like 2sheds- scissors for most thin meats ( and pizzas!)
And a proper carving knife and fork for roasts.
Big knives scare me to death, I'm sure it'd be a trip to hospital if I attempted to use one of them again!

Snadge- the advert at the moment is Valentine gifts!!!
