Last night was fish and chips throw out. Himself has just made a crisp sandwich - I'm stuffed from a huge lunch with pudding, so maybe a yoghurt later.

Bol and chips. Very nice with vast amounts of freshly picked tomatoes (cuor di bue, super sauce and san marzano) and middling amounts of fresh basil.

Tomorrow is bangers and mash,

Whole roast chicken stuffed with herbs and oranges/lemon/lime on the bbq with last nights leftover new potatoes into potato salad and a bean/tomato salad

Can’t decide as yet between a tumble salad or cauli cheese with lardons. I’m sort of fancying the latter.

I'm thinking curry. Maybe prawn and sweet potato curry with rice and/or naan.

I'll go get some prawns out of the freezer now to defrost.

Italian friend coming round, so it's pizza again plus a huge salad. Stracciatella ice cream for afters. Not exactly over-exerting myself on this one!

Slight variation …we went to the vide Grenier and there were massive queues for sausage baguettes - no wonder- the smell was desperatly salivating intensity…so we called in at our butcher on the way home( just made it as he was about to close) and bought several types of sausage, goose rillette ( bit like pate) and smoked chilli saucisson.
Oh dear- so we had bbq sausage and baguette and most of the other delicacies. With bbq plums for pud!

Looks like a very simple veggie salad later will be in order.

(What did I buy at the vide Grenier? Some small coloured wooden beads for my craft work and a massive , old, rusty door key. Just because I could )

Well, I had planned on Cauli cheese with bacon but…I ate a bit too much of the ‘wrong things’ last week, so want to make amends this week.
Will need to have a think.
