Cottage Pie with garden peas, strawberries and cream to follow.

Making some portions of cauliflower cheese for the freezer.

Those builders are in for a treat Snoop

They didn't eat as much as I expected. Two of them didn't want cake! They're working really hard and the temperature is in the low to mid thirties, so they're drinking a lot of water, which is filling them up apparently.

Lunch today: salad, meatballs in tom sauce with rigatoni, loquats for afters if anyone wants them.

A pastie and salad at lunch time then Toasted chesses sandwiches this evening.

Sandwiches and salad (not sneaky!) Apple pie and cream.

I think tonight will be fish fingers, hash browns, peas and homemade tartare sauce.

Strawberries and/or nectarines and cream (although somebody has just put the idea of apple pie in my head).

Roast tomato tart and salad, OH may want new potatoes too

All change! It's going to be chicken and sweetcorn soup made with the remnants of Sunday's chicken. Bread and butter.

The strawberries look and smell looked so good today.

Bit of a camping stove treat this evening…. Ostrich steaks with psb followed by ginger cake and yogurt.

Lunch today: what I said yesterday (salad, meatballs in tom sauce with rigatoni but yogurt for afters). Yesterday ended up being a pork version of veal schnitzel with salad and chips, fruit salad.

Chinese style pork ribs with jacket potatoes and then lemon drizzle cake with custard. I seem to have fallen into the pudding trap again!
