If it's going to be getting a lot of use its best to buy the one you want.
          Location....East Midlands.

^Thanks, Bren. That makes me feel a bit better about the extravagance. I bake bread three or four times a week, sometimes more. I reckon it'll prove popular with visitors though. I foresee cake-making sessions with kids. I used to make a lot of cakes before but will have to consider the dietary consequences now. Cake rather than a meal at supper time every now and then? That would prove popular!

I make my own bread. I use the bread maker to mix the dough but then let it prove/ cook it in the oven as my oven is always on.
              Tastes great.....

....but I think you wanted to treat yourself! a bit like when I wanted a food processor. I bought the biggest and best my budget would stretch to! Enjoy it!
I'm currently covered in icing sugar! On number 2 cake of this week!

Yay! Congratulations on your new baby! LOL It will be the start of a most wonderful relationship

My relationship with mine is a little tense at the moment, as I made bread a couple of weeks ago and by accident made a double batch in one. The bowl is now stuck and I cannot for the life of me twist the bloody thing off. Any tips on how to loosen it??
I have thought about WD40, but not dared try it out yet.

Do you mean the dough hook thingy is stuck in the dough in the bowl............or the bowl is stuck at the base?

The bowl is stuck on the base. A fair few blue words have been spoken.

Hot water to soften the dough?

There's no dough in there - I used that to make bread lol It's just I can't untwist the bowl off the base to clean it! It's stuck and won't budge no matter how I twist and try to leverage against something else. It's not coming lose.

It's not been on my list of priorities for the last couple of weeks to be honest, and it saved me from cleaning around it haha
I've googled it and apparently it's good to pour hot water into the bowl - that'll make it easier to unscrew it.

OK , I'd assumed that because you'd made a double batch of dough, it had overflowed!
What about a hairdryer to soften the plastic bowl?

IGNORE that ^^^ we cross posted!
