    2 weeks ago I made bramble jelly and then used the pulp to make bramble vodka. Today I strained it and poured it into the empty vodka bottle. Tastes very nice and sweet.

      Made batches of courgette/squash soup and runner bean soup for freezer. Then froze a bag of beans, so freezer is now full to capacity.
      Pickled a jar full of cucumber (=2litre capacity).
      Wonder if runner beans can be dried... and, more to the point, whether they are worth eating afterwards?

                    Some in tomato and curry based sauces
                    The rest in tomato and wine based sauces.
                    2jars of cucumber relish
                    5jars of green tomato mincemeat
                    4litres of '44' ( coffee infused oranges sitting in Calvados)
                    "Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

                              6 jars of spicy fruity relish
                              6 jars of spiced pear and plum pie filling (usually mincement but Hubby can't do dried fruit anymore)
                              7 jars of spiced apple and ginger pie filling (bramley and worcester)

                              chilli jelly left to do, then I am done for this year and have space back in my freezer
