How about cake in a mug? You can cook a cake in a coffee mug in the microwave - chocolate, carrot, whatever! So you can give a coffee mug with the dry ingredients mixed in it, in a plastic bag, and a piece of paper with the instructions of what to add and how to cook it. Tis really nice for people who don't have a whole family to scoff a cake in one go. And goes down a treat after dinner while you're watching tv in winter.

I've made something similar to these before you could use a mug instead of making the boxes then just add the poem.

          Love that Bren, great site.

Anyway, my idea - Mulled wine spices tied up in muslin with a pretty bow on top
This is a nice one with recipe but there are many others, I'm sure

In my local cemetery, they don't cut the hedges down there so the blackthorn has plenty of opportunity to grow to its full height. I've picked roughly 2lb off about 4 branches. Check out footpaths in your area, or cycle routes, these are generally thick with wild produce.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

There was a thread about this last year. Do you think I can find it...?

Might be worth drying some lavender flowers?
                                ...or rose petals?
