  • Elderflower champagne ?

I've noticed the elderflower are starting to appear.
Most years I almost leave it too late to pick them ( they change flavour when old) so I'm just giving peeps ( and myself!) a reminder that the time is almost here.....

Anyone else planning on making any this year?

I have been eyeing up the elder round the boundary and purposely not chopped it just so I can make some champagne

I have a couple of grapevines here and I always thought it would be nice to have a tiny vinyard but I haven't got around to it yet. I'm sure you know this but vine prunings wine is really nice. It makes a great blending wine for grape wine too.
