Yep, I'm going to try to keep the trial going until they're planted in their final positions in the greenhouse. It'll be a bit difficult to give them identical treatment by moving them around at that point.

The biochar was obtained from 'Oxford Biochar', NOT Carbon Gold.

Is there any difference in what its made from and contains?

I don't think so, but there's a chance that the plant material which was charred was different. I just wanted to be clear

I don't know Bins, I don't know how much Carbon Gold costs If you goggle it, you'll find them

hmmmmm........one seems to be £2 per kg for min order of £10 kg =£20 and t'other seems to be £19.99 for a 4.5kg bucket .......bit of a difference there.

For small amounts.......one is £6,50 for 1.5kg and t'other is £6.99 for 1kg.....and be wary of 3 for 2 offer....do your sums

It'd be like saying every plant is as useful as comfrey at bringing minerals up.

Unfortunatley my trees bear fruit and not money so I don't think they'll be finding a market here.....
