    Having the same issue with my frenchies, they look a bit sad, have started off some more just incase...

      I planted out nearly 200 climbing French beans last week. About 10% of them have yellowed and shriveled, the rest of them are just fine. I've no idea why some have failed and some haven't across about 10 different varieties Growing veg is not an exact science in my experience!

      Anyway, as TwoSheds said, resowing to fill the gaps is still viable; germination should be quick and they can be put outside for hardening off as soon as they've germinated.
