  • introduce your pets with pictures :)

Ok so I have not come across a thread with a chance to talk about pets.

I did find this strange as pets seem to be a massive part of our lives!

So I am starting this thread to introduce your pets and possibly post pictures so we can talk compare the furry friends

hopefully if I am stepping on toes or there is another thread similar then the mods can link/delete this post.

Right so whos going to kick us off i will upload a picture in a moment when i get the chance to download from my camera/phone

This is open to any/every kind of pet whether it be cat, dog, rodent, lizard, snake, or even just your partner (**jokes**)
In the following link you can follow my recent progress on the plot

At home we have a escapologist hamster called Pearl, and two very stupid chickens called Daisy and Ginger.

We've just had to change the hamsters cage as she chewed away the plastic that held the metal lid on, you can't put her in one of those ball things either as she bangs it against the wall to loosen the lid and climb out. My two chickens are scared of everything from tomatoes to grass, they are very low down the evolutionary ladder.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, both of which have been to the Vets today for eye problems and one has very green eyes at the moment from the drops. You don't want to see photos - she looks like something from a horror film. I shall be up at 2 hourly intervals through the night to put serum, extracted from her blood, into her eyes in the hope of a cure. So its a sleepless night for me now!
The good news is, I've just received 1.5 kgs of composting worms and I'm setting up 2 wormeries, as we speak! I shan't be putting their photos here either!! Lots of pets in this house
Although I said I wouldn't - here are photos of half the worms in their new wormery and two unhappy dogs cwtching up in one basket.

                  Not yet!

But it's been suggested we take off the frames full of honey they've made so far. It's also been suggested to leave them a super of their own honey for winter... so we're umming and arring at the moment. But next year def!
