chop onion and fry in hot oil

meanwhile put kettle on. rip open 3 minute noodles pack, throwing away the dried flavouring packet.

put noodles in a tray, pour hot water over.

once done, add to onion, and add whatever flavouring [soy sauce usually] and cook for about 10 seconds only. pour into a dish and add mayo on top.

It goes floppy when I put he beans on & the toast is better with butter on it.

Never EVER put beans or egg ON toast! Egg or beans in centre of warm plate with toast triangles or soldiers smothered in butter (let toast cool first) positioned very precisely around edge of plate. No knife required, just fork!

You've just reminded me - takes more than 5 minutes, but poached egg on beans on toast is divine!
