Could you live without your mobile phone for a week? I cried no today when i was told that, minimum 4 days now phew...........it made me realise just how reliant I am on it, to communicate with friends etc........then thought back to the days b4 mobiles, actually using the landline phone, writing letters not emailing.......

    but still a week!
Dont worry about tomorrow, live for today

I think certain areas should be designated mobile free zones.

I have two (ones a work one) but I hate bladdy things!

If I go fishing or to the allotment it's funny how I always seem to forget mine!

Mmmm, I actually have a spare which my best mate uses to text me on a daily basis as it doesnt cost her anything. Not sure if I could cope without mine - I use it so often to text you AL! We'll just have to use the landline.

I'd happily bin mine in all honesty. I use it more for work emails whilst I am out of the office [ie home], and for taking photos. Once I have a different car that possibly breaks down alot I might review my opinion though! People [ie Mo] text me on it and I don't find the text until a few days down the line as I am always putting it in my bag or my cycle basket and I remember that I need it a few days later......Doh!!!

I didn't have one for a few weeks when I lost my bag. I actually quite liked not having one. It was OH who made me get a new one as he said I needed it when ferrying the children about.

I don't use it that much prob only spend about £10 in credit, OH even less! But then he works upstairs so shouts me when he is on the way home lol

No problem at all.My friends aren't too impressed with me-as soon I come off the shift I plonk the mobile somewhere and forget about it until it squeaks for some charging up.One of OH friends after listening to complains"have you ever switch this damn thing on" has said"mobile phone is for MY convenience, not somebody else's".I must say I like it

I keep my phone in my suit jacket, but I only look at it to check the time (really must get myself a new watch!!), and the only texts I seem to get are from 02 telling me I'm not taking advantage of something or another. I could easily do without mine, though I like to know I have it if I'm out on my own in the car or up the lottie in case of emergency.

Our land line is through the internet which can go down for days at a time- so no phone, no internet either.

It can get very depressing...thank goodness i have a car now to get about!
