  • Sweetcorn?

Undecided which sweet corn seeds to order? Any personal preferences considering I live in NE England and enjoy eating sweet corn raw within seconds of being picked!

We've had good results with Swift for the past few years.

According to Moles Seeds, it is a super sweet variety - a first early variety. Heavy cobs with 16-18 rows of golden kernels. Superb taste and texture.

I can certainly vouch for the 'taste and texture' cooked or uncooked.

We are quite a bit south of you, but would consider it a 'worth a try' for you.

I agree with Valerie but also grow "Lark" as well.

      Both are exellent.

We loved 'Tuxedo' but it was the first sweetcorn we've ever grown, so it was bound to taste fantastic compared to stuff that's been in the food chain for days.

We grew Incredible (f1) it lovely, sweet and juicey. They were grown from country fare seeds that we got from netto for 59p. Growing them again next year.
