One of the garden centres local to me sells loose seed spuds. If you want me to get a few of each I could do that and put them in the post to you. Might make them quite pricey though - due to the good old Royal Mail.

We're lucky with an independent garden centre who sells loose seed potatoes - but failing that, Wilko have quite small packets, but they're a bit dear.

Other grapes will be able to help, I'm sure.

Some of the seed catalogues do a "sample selection", I just checked Dobies and it's not them, maybe it was Thompson & Morgan. Failing that, our local Poundland is selling 10 seed potatoes for £1 (only two varieties available here but your local store may have more.

Also I've heard of potato days round the country where you can go and buy just what you need. We don't have any round here, but check posts on the Vine - I'm sure there were quite a few advertised. Some large garden centres also have barrels of loose seed potatoes where you can choose exactly what you want.

Depends on what part of london you are in. If you are in th Souff pop down to our allotment shop and you can buy from 1 kg upwards.

As you are not a member of our society we charge a Greenfinger fee of £1 per year. we are open Sat and Sunday.

if you are interested PM me and I will give you full details of where we are and what we have.....leave it a few weeks and the goodies in the politunnel will be on sale.

We also have a Canteen and a bar. Cor sounds great just like Alton Towers.

                  Its not all that:

we only do normal Guniness not the extra cold and we only have 4 real ales on draft at the moment.

Come on its not that grand. We only have the dancing girls on once a month and the waiters are a bit slow.

Um ... we have a bar too which I'm yet to explore fully, however they have EXCELLENT - Banks's Bitter & Original on draft, rolls for lunch - and apparently a varied mix of entertainments on Sun evenings.

our local garden centre had packs of 10, why not put a few in the ground and a couple in an old container so you can move it around.

Am now happy - I can get out in the polytunnel again with the warmer weather.

Lots of independent garden centres sell them loose. My local garden centre sells them loose for 20p each and there are about 20 different varieties.
