Getting a bit warmer here in frozen Warwickshire, might attempt to set out the rest of my beds this weekend. I must have been bonkers last weeked trying to push canes into earth which had the same resistance as strengthened steel!!
fingers crossed it doesn't freeze again. Spuds chitting nicely at the moment. Went to water my broad beans in the green house, had left some water in there in a can, lifted it up to water them and a huge chunk of ice clunked out onto my seed tray!
They have rescue chickens there, i am so happy cause we can't keep them at home, due to mad rescue collie!!
Asked head if i could develop veggie growing with kids, have a bit of land to dig up, she was mega keen, really happy. Good end to an otherwise grot bag week in school, off to lottie tomorrow to finish pegging out beds now soil has thawed
