  • Making your own labels

As I plan on giving some jars of jams, chutney's, etc as gift I would like to put labels on them. Has anyone found a site where you can customise your own labels and print at home?

Any other suggestions would be great.

Hi I downloaded a free software programme from Avery. You then buy the sticky labels(which ever size you require) and can design your own. Hope this helps. I actually buy Staples own brand which are the same size (and cheaper).

Cool. Round ones will cover the tops of recycled jars.

If you have Microsoft Word, you can download a wizard from Avery labels. This gives you lots of label templates all you do is add the clip art etc. On to one lable and the wizard does the rest.

I have now abandoned my online shopping cart and will give these a go, they all look great. Going to make little covers with material cut from pinking shears and tie with some raffia and use the labels on the jars, great for pressies.
