The plans for a large polytunnel have been shelved for now, with new plans for smaller tunnels over each bed being the new plan.
I have ear-marked an area for the beds and built a compost bin. The next step is the asparagus bed. Hopefully I will get onto that this weekend.
My friends who live round the corner keep farm animals and I am looking after them this week. I may have to ask for some manure in return. Just need to work out what i can use and if it needs to rot first.
I also need to get a skip to help with clearing the garden, it is still full of diy rubbish from the house. Why are skips so expensive?
Fingers crossed for some dry weather this weekend.
