  • Smallest Room - Finished

PB asked if I ever finished the smallest room.......800 postcards later, yes I did!

'Scuse the bubblewrap at the window - it's a bit parky in there!

No, I cheated and used boxed sets. I had asked for Penguin box sets for Christmas and ended up with four boxes. I thought 400 cards would be plenty for that little space, but it took nearly 800. Also, very mistakenly, thought it would be cheap to do......but the BH thinks £140 is a bit much to redecorate & carpet a loo!

I saw a lady in the USA who had completely covered her hallway walls in vacation postcards. There were thousands and the overall impression was that artificial turquoise that postcard printers use for the sea everywhere. I had boxes of cards I wasn't going to be sending so......

I didn't even know it was possible to buy boxsets. I daren't suggest this to the OH, he would set up the spirit level for every line!

              Brilliant idea and very different

Brilliant Jules - literally. Always something to read in your loo!!
I've been thinking about doing something similar with all the ridiculous certificates I've acquired over the years for doing totally meaningless things - you know the sort of thing - you have sponsored a.................../visited the........ /been trained in.......... come 3rd in...........etc.

Where I live, they love that horrible turquoise - the Bristol Channel is notoriously brown.....

I (we) have a collection of very small books, ranging from around the old 'Ladyb!rd' book size, right down to a tiny one that's about 4cm x 4cm. They sit on the windowsill, and are on a wide variety of subjects, so there's always sommat to read.
