  • Dry roasted peanuts

Why do I have to eat all the "halves" before I start eating the whole ones?

Because if it was wine gums you have to eat the red ones first, same with Smarties and Skittles Get the disappointing ones out of the way first!

I prefer the halves. I'd get rid of those pesky whole ones first.

Sticking with peanuts, why can't I stop eating Skippy Peanut Butter out of the jar with a spoon? Do I think someone else is going to diet into my bikini for me or something?

The trick is to eat it outdoors - calories only count in your own home...which explains a lot

Send your halves to me !

My acutely addled semi-scientific mind suggest that halves have a greater surface area to mass and therefore more dryroastyness.

Eat them with chopsticks and you will appreciate the difference considerabley!

Which would be correct only if absolutely every peanut was halved before dryroastingness coating was applied. Trouble is, the whole ones fall apart during transit so you have centres unexposed to dry roasted coating suddenly exposed and bereft of coating tastiness.

Never worried about halves, but have you tried putting the first one on your tongue and doing absolutely nothing, no sucking, chewing, nowt. Jeez the saliva makes you look like a rabied dog in no time!!

Once that first torturous exposure has passed, I pick the packet up and shovel them all in, mmm......where's me pint.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.
