Ultrasonic pest control

Can anyone tell me if ultrasonic controllers work, I have a field mouse in the greenhouse and was thinking about buying a ultrasonic device to get rid of it, or them, plus any other pests (does it work on humans) but have never used anything like this before so was wondering if anybody could give advice on them

I found the Mole things didn't work either, and I could hear the one in my neighbours' garden - not sure what that says about it being ultrasonic.

No they don't work.

I had one. Tried all the different frequencies.

Concept is the frequency moves them on....

But they will not move if they have a nest with young or a very good source of food

You just need to get yourself some cat saliva, rat urine, or snake skin essence to chase the wee blighters away.

I also remember HFW getting a woman in to burn sage to evict rodents from River Cottage, apparently it done the job.

Ultra sonic fox deterrent didn't work for me and it drove my then young daughter bonkers with the noise.

I had one in the greenhouse for a suspected rat. The rat pulled it off the wall and nibbled it!
