I'm just back from the plot - my intention was to go full bonzai and lift the covering to expose the nest.
Just as I was pumping myself up to get right in there, my mobile rang - it was my dad.
Told him about it - he told me to behave myself and don't be so stupid, as if I lived, I'd regret it, and to just let them be until their 'circle of life'is finished.
(Although, I think his main concern was the special tickets I've got for us to see Celtic for his 70th birthday present when I go to visit in a couple of weeks time).
