  • what moth or butterfly do the brown caterpillers......

    become once they've finished nobbling my fliping tomatoes

    my fault really for not dbl checking the ones that are a bit too close together decided to cut back my tomes a bit as some are starting to get blight then i find huge brown caterpillers chomping quite happily away

      Bright-line Brown-eye (Lacanobia oleracea) | Flickr - Photo Sharing! wondered if the green ones i had were just young ones, and wow the moth is huge quite pretty, shame im not prepared to keep them they have been evicted today they have abucket load of tomato leaves to munch on though and half eaten toms

        Sorry,on reflection that looked like a facetious reply I looked in the Dr. Hessayon vegetable book & there is very limited information,then started a google & got side tracked
