Kevin, I'm sure I read somewhere that these things first showed up in Northern Ireland in pots of plants imported from New Zealand.

How horrid, it’s nice (well not nice but I hope you know what I mean) to see a grape’s picture of these things to see what they look like in a real world as it were.

So far, I have not seen anything like those. Ghastly. I once caught a large locust and tried to get the chickens to eat it. Nothing doing. They were appalled. I think these worms might get the same response, even from them.

bario1 soak all your paths with a weak solution of vinegar about half a bottle to a watering can of water, or any other acidic solution, ( but remember add acid to water not water to acid) vinegar is the safest and easiest to come by (and the cheapest, not that that would influence me) and to kill them drop them into a jar of vinegar, this dissolves them, I spread some iron sulphate over one of my beds, as I have found they don't like acidic conditions though I haven't found any recently this could be down to weather conditions, though my neighbour across the road had found two recently, let us know if this helps
