  • potato blight!

I've just come back from a few days away and have noticed some signs of blight! It's only on a very few plants and I've cut them down leaving the healthy ones. Is this ok or should I remove all the top growth on them all? I live in Mid Wales. Has anyone else got signs of blight yet?

I've had two full smith period alerts.. No signs of anything but I was late putting mine in and they're only just breaking the surface.

VN first are you sure its blight it is very easy to mistake other problems as the early stages of blight.

      A pic would help.

It could just be natural die-back, not blight

I think we all tend to worry when potatos don't look great and panic thinking it's blight .seems a lot of the time it's nothin to worry about.saying that il end up with it now iv dismissed it

I think you're right I did panic. No more signs of anything.
I can't post a pic as I've cut all the foliage off.
It's been very hot and some plants are wilting, I hope it's just the effects from that!
