  • Green fly on tomato seedlings

Just went out to check on my tomato seedlings that i pricked out at the weekend and noticed they all have a couple of green fly on them. They are currently in the conversatory. Whats the best way to deal with them and where would they have come from? I intend to use the conservatory as a main growing area so do i need to fumigate it all or something? Really don't want to get infested again.

    Any help welcome.

Try giving them a spray with a solution of washing up liquid and water first of all. If that doesn't clear the problem, you may have to use something stronger but try the gentle way first.

I didnt think of that, My dad used to use that on black fly on the broad beans and it always used to do the job.

      Thanks!

There's an easier and less messie way with blackfly on broad beans. Just nip the growing points off. Good night blackfly.
