We have parts of our garden that are just overrun with nettles. I have tried digging them out, covering them with cardboard, spraying the glyphosate, but they still keep coming back. Any suggestions anyone??

me too, just keep pulling them up, and cutting any new growth back, cover them up so they've no light, and eventually, bit by bit, they give up.Comment

in the spring when the nettles are growing keep cutting them off and put them in a sack and drop it in the water butts.. The make a wonderful garden tonic.. i will see if i can find the article about using them..

They are also good for wildlife in the garden.. i let em grow in the hedges.
