I too gave up on all my brassicas, owing to the relentless march of caterpillars, ripping them all out.

Boiling rhubarb leaves provides a mild insecticide.............just wish I'd thought to try it again.

I just squidged all mine, kind of satisfying although a very lengthy procedure caused by me not netting one of the beds when I first planted the young plants. The other two beds which had been netted from the start were much better with only the odd catepillar. Never tried rhubarb tea, presumably you use the leaves?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
