  • Centipedes

Every time I dig in my raised beds, there are always at least two or three bright yellow/orange centipedes. I know that centipedes are carnivorous, but are they a good thing to have in your veg garden?

If they are carnivorous then they won't be eating your veg which is usually a good thing.

That's what I thought, although I'm a little worried that they may attack other helpful bugs or worms...

They feed on insects, spiders and other small invertebrates including other centipedes.
