  • Hundreds of eggs inside compost bin

Well I assume they're eggs.......more like grey blobs of jelly.....which I guess are slugs' eggs are they?? There's hundreds of them lining the sides of my compost bin. Should I just leave them, or is it likely to cause me a problem when I come to use the compost, which won't be for a good while yet.

    Yes, most likely slugs.
if they stay in your compost bin, they will help with decomposition.

Hi Rodofgod76, I agree with Two Sheds, sounds like slug eggs, fantastic little composters...Have the salt ready for when they explore the big wide world tho!
