Could someone please help, i just emptied the contents of a container with a old strawberry plant into my compost bin, when i broke it up it was full of what looks like vine weevil maggots, i tried to remove them but i dont think i will have got them all out, what should i do, does this meen all the contents of my compost bin is no good now for future pots that i plan to fill, please help.

The remaining maggots will probably pupate, then turn into more vine weevils.

I've been researching ways to kill grubs as I have problems with things eating the roots of my strawberries too!
