what is munching my rhubarb???

I have a couple of varieties growing- and they are planted all over the place- but it looks like a couple of the plants are having their new tiny leaves munched as soon as they are appearing...do slugs eat this new growth???..never had this problem before!

Not much eats rhubarb but with the new growth being less acidic it could be slugs. You need to catch them in the act!
