Orange things in pots!!

Hi All,

I have just discovered some orange things in my herbs

I have looked at all my pots but only the rosemery and oregano seem to be infected.

They are small, flat waxy things on the surface of the soil, about the size of a 2p and the colour of orange carrots. It almost looks and feels like candle wax.

I had thought mushroom but the texture is not there, any ideas are my herbs done for

Here is the picture, Ailen infestation? Common round here, seemingly we are the stomping ground for UFO'S here

Update on orange things

Well the are some form of plant or fungi, the one I pull off yesterday as shrivelled up and died, gone all brown...
