Tried this on that infested lupin, not sure if I used too much chilli but about 20 mins after I used it the aphids looked as though I'd used a flamethrower on them lol, is pretty potent stuff you have to make sure you don't spray it on any beneficial insects, or they'll get killed aswell

Also I got some horsetail tea bags and I use one in my chilli/garlic mixture, so It makes it a nice spray for pest and mildew in one go, it seems to be working so far, I think garlic also as an anti fungal action aswell as the horsetail

I've also been using it to protect plants from slugs/snails, by spraying it around them, it seems to work till it rains

Could you use Ecover washing up liquid rather than soft soap?

I have no pennies but I have some of the above.

I have just put a drop of fairy liquid in my sprayer, my plants seem ok, and it seems to be working so far

So for the necro but I just wondered if the recipe calls for 4 ounces of garlic and 4 ounces of chillies or a 4 ounces of mixed garlic and chilli?

Do you think this dressing will help confuse carrot root fly?
