I've got clusters of dark green eggs (I think), about the size of uncooked tapioca, on my brassicas, on the soil around the roots and at the bottom of the pots. Any ideas what they are?
THey will hatch into catapillars i'm afraid. Destroy the eggs now and you stand a good chance of saving your leaves!!!!!!
I have loads of catapillars munching on my Brassicas at the mo ( this is my first year)
Good luck
On the same plant I also found 4 fat caterpillars who had been having a good munch.
Me suspects that this deposit is caterpillar droppings.
I soon sent the caterpillars flying!
The eggs are definitely yellow and I had been rubbing them off the plants.
Obviously missed these 4 fellas!
