Looking on the positive side...I might get a decent run on the local river again this weekend
Plus, it should help to cool down the sunburn that I got today...flippin' bright red shoulders again!
Tried and Tested...but the results are inconclusive

I can only assume he used some kind of 'deckchair with hundreds of helium balloons attached to it' type of contraption to sail above the clouds.

No, I have sunburn too. Went fishing all day, and even with a hat on look like the beetroot no one can grow (no one would dare!!) .

It may have been cloudy yesterday, but doesn't stop the rays.... It was lovely!!!

It was foul and grey here. I must live in a black hole.

It's not been too bad here during the days, but has tended to get very wild during the evenings. Last night the wind was knocking everything about - even my hydrangea is looking battered. It makes me wonder whether there is any point in starting again if the weather is going to continue like this throughout June.

Time to plant some watercress, methinks.
                          March is the new winter.

Or rice as RL suggested. I have seriously thought about watercress this year as my celery sat in water filled gravel trays for weeks.

With all the rain the war against slugs and snails has restarted in my garden. Even my fish in the pond seem to making escape routes.
