Had more rain last night and the grass is just beginning to grow again now it has cooled down. Will be forced to get the mower out , first time for about 6 weeks!!! Hot and dry does have some benifits

We've had rain nearly every day since St Swithin's Day (15th July) after months without any. Yesterday it rained all day. Today nice and sunny though.

Here in Hertfordshire we have been having welcome heavy rain at last. Its a relief as the garden takes so long by hand. My daughter thinks its odd that when the rain stops i go out and water the garden.

Somebody, anybody please come and have our rain. It's free , you can have it for nothing . I've finished with it for a bit, all I ask is can somebody send me some sun and a bit of warmth in return ....
