We had about 4" on Friday night / Saturday morning and a couple of flurries today, with more forecast - we have also seen the return of bitterly cold winds.
The news programmes have said that the combined December / January temps make this the coldest period in Scotland since records began (1914 I believe).Rat

We've had snow forecast for later on tonight/early morning around 8cm...that's everything in South Yorkshire ground to a Holt again then and not a gritter in sight .

Although we didn't have snow forecast this far north for tonight, someone obviously forgot to tell the snow - just taken Charlie for a walk in blizzard conditions! I left the house with a black & white Sprollie, came back with a Snowdog ! ( For any Rush fans, does that make me By-tor?)Rat
