no snow or sleet forecast here, only heavy rain...

The FrostAlert warning email for my location says :-

            *Saturday: 1c
            *Sunday: 1c

Met check gives out sleet followed by snow, so its not looking good.

That would be so good. If it was good and deep I wouldn't be able to go and get the Hagga Bagga (mother in law). That would be the best Christmas present I'd had in years.

I want some SNOW, but none is forecast here, just rain. Ho-hum!

Ooh, I just remembered how to make it snow - get my Sister to come and visit - it worked last year. She HATES snow and moved to Spain to get away from it, so when she came over last year it snowed really heavily the whole time!

I just went on Metcheck. Never used it before. What a good site.
We are forecast sleet and snow showers for tomorrow.
I will be amazed if this is accurate as we rarely get any snowy weather in this part of the country. The rest of the UK has to be knee deep before we get even a random flake.

“If your knees aren't green by the end of the day, you ought to seriously re-examine your life.”

Having been working nights for the last two, well, nights, I can confirm it has definitely dropped down to very chilly in the wee hours, big coat chilly.
