We've been having thunder storms since Sunday! My parsnip seedlings (which I was so proud of) were destroyed yesterday, and my outdoor tomato plants look like they've been shot by a machine gun! Haven't known such a long period of unsettle weather ever! Eveything with seedling in now covered in cling film!
Hmm...we've got them forecast for tomorrow...and I've just volunteered to take a neighbour to the port 1 1/4 hrs away....
Oh well- tis better than sweating to death in the car!!
( might wash some of the dust off the car at the same time!)

Not holding my breath but thunder storms forecast for this evening and the same with hail for tonight. Better tomorrow but they will be back in the evening and the French Met Office has put us on orange alert, as is much of France.
Boy could we do with the rain It seems to miss the Charenton Valley all the time. 20K away the festivities were washed out on the 14th and we didn't get a drop!!!!!!!!!

We are just across the sea on the south coast and it is REALLY nasty here. We have driven home from friends and the roads are flooding and motorway very dangerous!
