Nov. 7th, Rain today and dull grey sky. First rain in about a week. Lovely clear sunny days for the past week.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

A very windy today although no rain. Sky slightly grey at the moment. Have a tree in a pot in the garden and such was the wind that it blew it over.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Today must be the wettest day we have had in i don't know how long. Woke up to heavy rain first thing and its still lashing at the moment. Roads flooded everywhere as so much water is falling so quickly. Had to go into town this morning and came home soaked through. Temp still staying high though.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Sunday and what a horrible day. Went out to mass and bought the papers. Home and in for the day. Lashing rain and gale force winds. Weather alert on radio and tv.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Wet and windy all the week. Went to town today amid the showers. Wet windy and chaotic.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,

Tuesday and a lovely bright sunny day today. A bit fresh but great for the end of November. Cut a bunch of chillis on Sat, they're still ripening in the conservatory.

Dec. 1st and a lovely sunny crisp day. That was, until evening when it rained several heavy showers. Has turned cold and miserable now.

A cold crisp sunny day here today. Was actually able to take grand daughter for a walk in her buggy. Cant speak for last week as I was in Feurteventura having a week of very welcome sunshine.

Done nothing but rain and gail for the past week. The worst is over now and had a damp dull day today and yesterday.

Had our first frost last night. Don't know what the temp was but this morning at 11 o'clock there was still ice on the greenhouse window and the bird bath was still frozen. Everything white and looking exceedingly pretty.

For the last week we have had nothing but rain, wind and dull grey skies. The ground is sodden but the temp is still unseasonablly high.

Still the same, rain and gales. Had a bit of a lull this morning and got out for a walk with my grand-daughter in the buggy but it was quite nippy.
