My gads, it's belting down. Just came out of nowhere, and there are rivers instead of roads.

Woken up in the night by what sounded like the local fire brigade hosing our bedroom window!!!!

Then a fantastic thunder and lightning show for about 1/2 hr
Wonderful!!!!

( or should that be as we'd agreed to go to the lottie early this morning - and now it will be like a mud wrestling pit!...could be fun!)

I dont want anymore rain thanks all the same, i need sunshine on my sweetcorn, and i need warmer night time temps.

Its getting quite chilly during the evenings and i'm having to close up the greenhouse at night...Its high Summer. !!!!

Same just down the river here!One minute I was looking at my row of washing that had dried overnight having got dried & soaked again yesterday~next minute I'm out there in torrential downpour trying to save it from a further soaking~sad thing is now the clothes I was wearing need drying too!!

I just saw the Out-Laws... they live 3 miles away, and had no rain at all.
We're just getting a few thunderbangs here now, and another downpour. When the sun peeks through, it's roasting.

OK TwoSheds, you're in South Norfolk, andianddi are in Ipswich, I'm in Lowestoft. How come both of you have had a decent amount of rain, and we've had diddlysquit here??? A few showers, but not enough to do any good.

Did you have a line of washing out? I find that always works for me!!
